Laine McPherson of Provo, Utah
My love for creativity inspired me to take a pottery class in college. I fell in love and have been doing pottery ever since! Now as a mom of two, pottery also serves as a coping mechanism as I struggle with the daily struggles of motherhood, as well as postpartum depression. Taking time for myself and becoming better at my craft helps me re center mentally and physically so that I can be the mom I want to be for my children. As a result, I am able to create beautiful decorative and functional art that tells the story of who I am and who I want to be.
